Cricket

Cricket is our major summer sport for boys at Edgemead High School. We have on average 4 teams entered in the league.  Every year our first team travels to Graaff-Reinet (Eastern Cape) in January as well as Vredenburg for a weekend early in February to play a match against Hoërskool Vredenburg. This event involves most families traveling out with the boys and making a weekend of the event.

Facilities:  We have two pitches tailored to junior and a senior level cricket, 5 cricket nets which includes a moveable net and 2 bowling machines. Our equipment across the age groups are of superb quality.
